New Year's Resolution: 101 in 1001

Ok. Fine.

I have finally given in and decided to make a "101 goals in 1001 days" list. I have been resisting for a long time because I didn't want to be a follower and do it because "everyone else is doing it."

But I totally see the value in writing down goals and tangibly checking them off of a list. When you write things down they become a more intentional part of your subconscious and you are more likely to actually reach them. So, I thought, what the heck! Copycat or not, I am going to make my list. And it seems quite perfect to begin at the beginning of a new year.

So, there you have it: My 101 in 1001 list. I will keep you posted on my progress as it is made.

  5. I LOVE THIS!!!!!

Please come to Napa for #28! We would LOVE it!!!

Check out epicurious.com for #28 I use it all the time If I only have chicken and broccoli and various pantry items I type that into the search box and tons of recipes come up! (good tip: only make recipes rated with 3 1/2 forks or more)

Check out 99designs.com AWESOME! You post what you want as far as graphics and how much you are willing to pay. Graphic artists from around the world submit their work and you choose what you like the most (or don't choose anything)

I think I need to make a 101 in 1001 list...It would totally motivate me! Glad I read yours! Thanks!

  6. I love this! It is a great idea and I also love that our wedding date helped you complete your #72!

I also would be interested in your #'s 9 & 73 if and when you get those started! I think they are great ideas and I just love your story on how you got started. I agree with your, there is never a "right time" to start something new. If people waited for that, they would never accomplish much. Thank your for this inspiration.

  7. Hi Emily!

Just had to send you a quick tip on goal #8 -- check out the Celebrity Solstice for a FANTASTIC cruise experience. Jaid and I went on one in June (actually, we got engaged during the cruise!) and it was unbelievably fantastic -- idescribable. The ship is in the Caribbean through next spring and then it is moving to the Mediterranean for a while, so there is plenty of time! :)
